Alternative for Bat/Seabird Guanos?
#1
Hi Y'all,

Anybody have a good alternative for Bat/Seabird Guano?

Most teas that i've found or been given call for it and due to sourcing and health concerns, I'd rather not use.

Thanks for the response JRJ,

Really both, I re-amend my soil and feed with Teas. Been using the bone meal for P, but definitely need to pick up some rock phosphate.

Any ideas for K? I've been struggling with that.

K? kelp meal and greensand are good for that... I like insect frass for a good all around npk. (Mine is 7-7-7)... Look into supplementing with coconut water too... That is a good k source and full of enzymes and good stuff for your soil/plants

I've heard a bunch of good things about insect frass. Do you have a recommendation for a good brand or source?

I'll have to give the coconut water a spin as well.

Thanks for all the ideas!
